Up to $23/hr | Monday– Friday | School-Based | Weekly Pay
Make a difference during the school day while building valuable experience in education, behavioral support, and special education. We’ re hiring Paraeducators in Visalia, CA to help students participate in classroom instruction, follow daily routines, and make progress toward their individual goals.
You may work one-on-one with a student or support a small group or classroom. Students may range from prekindergarten through adult-transition programs and have varying academic, behavioral, or personal support needs.

What You’ ll Do
Assist teachers with classroom instruction and daily activities Provide one-on-one or small-group support to students Reinforce academic lessons, social skills, and classroom routines Help students remain engaged and participate throughout the school day Follow Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), 504 plans, and behavior support plans Observe student progress and communicate updates to the teacher or supervisor Prepare or modify instructional materials as directed Support students during breaks, meals, and activities outside the classroom Participate in prescribed physical therapy, occupational therapy, or speech therapy activities when directed Assist with personal care needs, which may include toileting, diapering, handwashing, grooming, or other hygiene-related tasks Maintain each student’ s privacy, safety, and dignity
What We’ re Looking For
High school diploma or equivalent One year of experience working in a school or with children is preferred but not required Ability to communicate effectively with students, teachers, and school staff Patience and a supportive approach when working with students who have different learning or behavioral needs Ability to remain calm and professional in challenging situations Willingness to work in different classrooms, schools, or student-support settings Reliable transportation to assigned school locations Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association
